My cycle is usually 30-34 days, this month it was 42 days. I’ve just noticed a few people mention lengthened cycles on this thread so thought I’d mention it too, as it was quite a delay...
I’m not noticing any other changes, positive or negative. I am taking the supplement around midday giving some time after I’ve had my morning coffees.
I've got to the stage where I hardly ever have a bleed at all, and if I do just a couple of days. Prior to taking NAD+ I had been having a light bleed for several weeks for no reason that I could see, and I'm glad to say that that stopped just over a week ago now.
This may have masked any energy advantages which NAD+ might bring, so I'll be interested to see if I notice any in the next couple of weeks.
@marketingthehouseofhormones-com hi, the instructions on the bottle say to take it with water, that’s the only instructions I received/ no leaflets or anything
@bmorris Hi, I think that is what we all got.
I found some more info on the website https://www.bio-atelier.co/products/nad-capsules-liposomal
I took my last NAD+ capsule yesterday, and completed my third survey today.
Overall, I have been rather disappointed.
The system (essentially boosting the molecules which deplete as we age so that mitochondria can do the job of producing energy from food more efficiently) sounded impressive and made sense to me, and so I was hoping for very noticeable results. Sadly, with the most positive outlook possible, I really didn't have any.
On the bright side, this is something which I and my sister (who has ME, which some have suggested has a measurable negative effect on the health and so efficiency of mitochondria) were seriously considering investing in, so we have been saved that expense, which I am grateful for.
It is possible that more time taking the supplement would be beneficial, but without more positive results now, that isn't something I feel able to try.
@marketingthehouseofhormones-com Hello - apologies for missing this! I absolutely felt a difference, probably quicker than other supplements I've taken. My mood and stability was very much improved, and I had more energy - I've now come to the end of the trial and I've been very impressed. Kx
My last day of taking Nad +
Overall have noticed that I have slightly more energy and less low days.
my tummy also didn’t feel as bloated (don’t know if this was down to the Nad +)
Would consider taking for a longer period to see if any other significant changes.
Thank you for letting me trial this product, I enjoyed taking part.
This has helped me feel much less bloated and I have lost a good 2 pounds in weight, not much but I haven’t changed my diet in any way and find it hard to loose any weight. Would be interesting to see the outcome of taking this for longer, it was great to feel less bloating.
I did sleep better and feel this is due to this supplement. I didn’t really notice anything else but have had quite a lot of unexpected stressful things to deal with so my mind has been on other things and have been very distracted.
I won’t be buying this due to the price but really appreciate the chance to try this and see how everyone else found it.
@jill-bray Hi Jill, I think quite a long time ago I entered a completion to win something (sadly I didn’t win!) but it involved signing up to the House of Hormones emailing list. I then saw they carried out these studies as it was mentioned in an email, I think you are just asked a few simple questions like your age category and which stage in menopause you are in or if you are experiencing certain symptoms, then shortly after you will hear back if you have been successful (based on if you match the criteria for the specific study) so you may not be selected for one study but could be selected for another. The forum is friendly and helpful, I find it interesting to see other’s experiences of the product and have tested some great products. Good luck! 😊👍
