Hi everyone! We've had some incredible studies so far, and you have all been so helpful in deciding what has (and hasn't) been inHouse Studies Verified!

Now it's time for you to have your say in what products you want to try next!😍

To do this, simply write your own suggestion in this chat, or hit the thumbs up on someone else's product suggestion you find interesting.

We can't wait to hear your suggestions! Love from, THOH Team x

I’m afraid I haven’t yet done enough research to suggest a certain type but good quality affordable Collagen supplements would be wonderful. I have read several articles with regards their usefulness but there are so many out there it’s hard to know where to start.

As a woman who has previously had 2 miscarriages, I am always on the lookout for supplements that help fertility or ovulation or general health. In the past I’ve read a lot about myo/d-chiro inositol, CoQ10, N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC), and many more! I’m not actively trying to conceive right now, but I would love to try something that might help me get into the best position to try to conceive either naturally or through a fertility clinic in the future.

Also, I’ve recently been trying to find a magnesium product that helps me to sleep. I’ve used various brands of capsules but also pillow spray and body butter to apply to my feet and calves to help me sleep and also help with restless legs!

I have a massive family history of underactive thyroid and so I actively seek products that say they will help with thyroid function. So I’d love to try something for that.

Finally (though I could go on for much longer🤣), I have a condition called Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS). It’s a connective tissue disorder that means my body has an issue with producing and using collagen. I’d be really interested to try a supplement aimed at collagen.

Okay one more and then I promise I’m done 😅 just any supplement that will help my hair grow. I’m on a major hair growth journey and have tried supplements, oils, shampoos, conditioners, masks, all sorts!!

Thank you for asking and for listening (or reading I guess!) I love being part of this community. ❤️

Having read several articles with regards rising cardiovascular disease in women and the possible link with decreasing hormones. I would love to take part in a study using aged garlic , although I acknowledge it would be difficult to measure the results .

I would like to try a vegan gluten and cruelty free collagen as I'm sure I'd benefit.

I would like to try the Kind patches, I'd try any of them. The berberine Kind patch, to help metabolic balance is one I'd particularly like to try. Or any other products that may help someone struggling to lose weight during perimenopause.

I would also try anything that will help bring any scrap of my libido back. I haven't seen any products so far that make that claim.

I  would love to try collagen, but there are so many options out there I've no idea how to choose one (bovine, fish, combined, vegan).

My hair started coming out in handfuls a while back - the Drs were no use, only suggested Minoxodil, which did nothing for me, and muttered about age. I'd love to try anything which stops hairfall and (even better) replaces lost hair thickness and density.

My thyroid tests come back showing I am within the (very broad) normal range, but I have all the symptoms of hyperthyroidism and no way of finding out if the TH3 is being converted efficiently, or if it is getting into my cells. Again, it's really hard to know where to start with self help, supplements etc.

I had not heard about aged garlic in relation to heart issues; as my father and brother both dies of heart attacks I would be very interested in participating in a test of such a product, especially as the recognition of heart illness in women is so minimal.

Hello

I’ve really enjoyed being part of these studies and long may it continue.

I would love to trial other products such as collagen supplements, sleep therapy products, skin care especially for menopause skin, skin specific products such as for eczema or psoriasis, yoga or Pilates accessories and anything to help relaxation.

Thanks again,

😀

xx

Frustration with Curly Hair Products for Women Over 45...

I’m writing as a 47-year-old woman with ADHD and naturally curly hair, currently navigating significant hormonal changes. I would really love to find a brand that genuinely understands and invests in research around curly hair for women over 45.

I’m increasingly frustrated with spending large amounts of money on products that claim to be designed specifically for older women with curly hair, but simply don’t deliver. Many of these brands promote themselves on Instagram using older models, yet the images are clearly professionally styled. The results I experience at home are completely different—and often the opposite of what’s advertised.

I’ve challenged several smaller brands about this, and the responses are always similar: that I must be using the product incorrectly, or that I need to purchase additional items like their shampoo and conditioner to achieve the desired results. This feels misleading, especially when many of these products are priced between £30–£45 for something like a gel.

It’s incredibly disheartening and, frankly, exhausting. I would really appreciate more honesty, transparency, and genuinely effective products for women in this stage of life.

I have taken part in 2 studies so far and have loved both items and am just about to try a third so thank you for including me!

i would be interested in trying:

hair loss / thinning, not shampoos or conditioners but supplements (not Viviscal as I have already tried this).

Something for low thyroid function.

Maybe seaweed flakes.

The herbtender website looks to have interesting things.

Products for relaxing the vagus nerve.

@nulesrocks I'm taking prescribed HRT patches they don't move after applying. I've used them on holiday, in pools, at the beach. Maybe I've been lucky.

Kind patches, may not have the same sticking power. But I'd like to try them.
