Hey guys, Has anyone all of a sudden had driving anxiety come out of nowhere ? I was always a confident driver, (I've been driving since i was 18), up and down motorways no problem and 9 years ago I took some kind of panic attack whilst driving on it. I felt like I was losing control of the car, like it was steering off to the right. It also happens on more open roads as well, but I can drive ok on small city roads. My last period was 5 years ago, I am just about to turn 49 this year. I'm just curious to know if it could be menopause related as I feel like I'm going mad 🫢

Hi, not myself personally, but my mum (mid 50s) is going through something similar with having some driving anxiety. She hates driving at night now especially, and has stopped giving people lifts home from work for fear of getting into an accident with them in the car. So definitely not alone in this feeling!
