Hello

I am looking forward to trying a different type of coffee to see how it affects me as I’m sensitive to caffeine. I’ve tried other brands and lost interest as I wasn’t keen on the taste or consistency.

x 😀 ☕

So looking forward to it. Im not great in the morning, low in energy and slightly low in mood. Coffee in the morning is always first thing on my mind. Always! …unless I have a headache or migraine with an aura. So yes I’m intrigued to see how my body and mind after LoveMushrooms.

Happy new year everyone 🙂

I'm looking forward to getting started with the coffee - been looking at what supplements might help me and I see a few I was interested in trying as ingredients.

Just did the survey and I'm not entirely sure what is meant by "balance" but assume its probably hormones? 🤔 I'm not well-versed in the language of health and wellness!

I love coffee but know how much it affects my PCOS and hormones due to Peri. I tried the coffee yesterday and wasn't a fan.  found the smell a little off putting and you can tell it is decaf. i like a strong coffee so was a little disappointed.

I tried it again this morning and a little more palatable. i made it a little stronger so perhaps that helped. I am hoping it will grow on me over the next  few weeks.

I’m gradually getting used to the smell but really appreciate the fact that it is so easy to make. Previous supplements I have tried in powder form have required so many additional ingredients to make them palatable that I ended up putting on weight.

I'm excited to try this. I'd love to give up caffeine and my daily sugary tea. I love the idea of replacing with Love Mushrooms for health benefits. Watch this space!

@kas oh gosh, I read it literally as balance and thought to myself- “interesting I’ve not seen studies on mushrooms and balance, makes sense though, I must look into mechanisms if that!” 😆🙈 And I work in health - but hormone/life balance does make more sense! 😆😆😆

@kas I took it to mean mood balance (after considering whether it meant actual physical balance/wobbliness, which it might, I swear mine is getting worse!)

I'm enjoying this a lot more than I expected to after getting a very mushroomy whiff when I opened the packet.

For me, it tastes like a mild instant coffee, with maybe a bit of chicory. I wouldn't guess mushroom from the flavour or the smell after it is made into a drink.

I like that it is so easy to make, and that you can choose the strength.

I haven't really noticed a difference in alertness etc as yet, but it has been a different time of the year in terms of activity, routine etc. Now that life is back to the usual timetable and so on, I hope to see more of a change.

Well I've been trying to decide whether its the smell or the taste I'm not keen on and I've concluded its the taste. There's a sort of mild saccharine-like aftertaste that isn't for me. That said, I'm managing to get it down, I just drink it first thing then reward myself with a normal coffee 😛 (Adding milk helped a lot but I'm trying to avoid dairy).

Early days so I dont know if I'm seeing any benefits.

@kas Thank you for sharing and well done for continuing to try it! I've seen some people have put honey or even cinnamon into theirs and have found this more enjoyable - let us know if you do try adding anything and if this helps 😍
