My periods have always been on the heavier side, but lately, it feels excessive with large clots (sorry, TMI!). I’m constantly tired and cranky during my cycle. Has anyone else experienced this? Could it be fibroids or something else? My GP has just told me to keep an eye on it, but no other real advice! Should I be worried?

Literally me! I am 0% helpful here because I haven't actually got it checked out. But I literally bleed through thick night time pads within about 2 hours, so I feel your pain. Let me know if you have any updates and I will do the same girly x

Hey girls, sorry to hear you're dealing with super heavy periods. It could be fibroids or it could be excess estrogen and low progesterone. Do you have any other symptoms such as headaches, sore boobs, low libido, weight issues?

@claire-johnson-nutritionist I always get a pain in one specific little area of my left breast, fatigue and have hormonal acne. I also had minor cell changes from my smear test but then I was told it was nothing to be concerned about, not sure if that could be linked?
