Was really excited to try the wow face mask after a long day and give myself a 20 min down time to enjoy.
instructions were a little confusing and I don’t know if the mask is supposed to be warm-ish (or warm up?), but after a little bit of wrestling with the two piece mask I managed to lie back and enjoy it and it was quite nice cooler on my face.
It did feel a bit sticky on my face for around 15 after removing the mask and rubbing in the serum but my face feels really nice now, not tight or dry.
enjoyed this time for myself - a little pamper on a Monday evening is a nice little pick me up, when I’d normally be charging around trying to get things sorted for tomorrow. Look forward to seeing how my skin looks and feels tomorrow morning!
I tried it on- can anyone tell me if it is meant to be smooth side on face or textured side on face?
I put it on, it was nice & cooling & then it dried out. my skin felt dry & too tight. However, now my skin has dried properly - my skin feels incredibly smooth & lifted. it sounds very promising. i kept it on for 40 mins.
Initially found the mask was a bit fiddly to fit & the instructions were too long & confusing. I thought the mask would slide off but it stayed on pretty well and was mostly comfortable to wear if I didn't move about. I liked the fragrance of it and I did find it quite relaxing to wear while reading.
My skin felt soft, firmer and more toned when I removed it and it did make a visible difference to the brightness of my skin so I was quite impressed with the results. I wore it for 40 minutes.
I used this mask last night . I decided to take an hour for myself to see how my skin would look after wearing the mask for the maximum amount of time. My skin did look very fresh and dewy afterwards.
However , if I am honest with a busy family life it would be tricky to try and do this every week . If I was to incorporate this into my routine I would probably have to cut down the time I wore the mask to 15-20 minutes .
I think I will do this next week and see how my skin looks after this shorter time .
@danijeph from what I can see I think it’s meant to be slightly warmed by your face/ environment to activate the ‘transdermal delivery matrix’ (whatever that means😅) so just to warm it with hands if it becomes cold
I got in a right mess getting the mask on in the first place - the pieces were all sliding around as they came out of the packet, bits of face shaped plastic coming off etc, so I wasn't sure which side went on the skin (I went with smooth) or which way up the lower face bit was supposed to go. I got it sorted and on myself in the end, and I did feel very relaxed and soothed lying back and listening to a podcast with eyes closed.
I did the full 40 minutes, maybe a little more.
When the mask first came off my skin actually felt a tiny bit tight, but within 30 minutes it felt smooth, highly moisturised and I really think that it looked a bit brighter as well.
There was loads of gel left in the packet, so I gave my arms and the backs of my hands a bit of a treat with it.
I did the mask in the evening, and ended up not using my usual night moisturiser but still having fully moisturised and soft feeling skin the next morning as well!
It says to use after a treatment. I gave myself micro needling sessions and applied.
it felt nice and felt my skin soft and nourished
