[Sticky] Elle Sera - Collagen Study

Hi I received my package with my products and previously said gorgeous packaging but on closer inspection I also noticed a stain on one of the bags so obviously a leak I did want to ask regarding the size of the wording in the booklet as I wear glasses and I found it hard to read so a suggestion make the wording bigger as the presentation of the booklet is great very informative and helpful and I wonder if anyone else has noticed this 

my collagen arrived yesterday. i love the packaging & how the collagen looks like expensive crayons. The pouches are useful too, interesting to try this. 

Received my Ella Sera collagen and super impressed with the packaging, can’t wait to get started - I’m expecting some good results from Ella Sera 😁

well today is the day we start are trial good luck everyone and I hope we all get the results from the product trial 

I love the way the collagen is so beautifully packaged, it looks very elegant. I just had my first vial of it. I found it quite hard to break the top off so hopefully that will get easier once I am used to it. The collagen tastes nice which I am pleased about, some of them can be a bit fishy. I hope this will improve my skin hair & nails.

Started the collagen today, impressed that it was a pleasant taste. Excited to see what results I get as have been considering collagen for a while but have read so many different opinions about whether or not it works and so many different products to choose from so I was really pleased to be accepted for this in house study. 

Well I have just had my first collagen drink and taste isn’t that bad as thought might have a synthetic taste or too sweet so I am hoping for good results let the journey begin 

Took first dose this morning and found it easy and quick - mixed it with water but will try straight tomorrow 

had it after breakfast but interested to hear if other took it on empty stomach? 

So it’s been a couple of days now. I really really struggled opening it the first day. I still struggle now, I worry it will go all over me. It’s quite tough to open. I like the idea just not the easiest. 
Taste and smell wise well, I was not impressed with. It smells awful and the taste too was bad. First time I mixed with a little extra water & gagged twice. I’ve added a little extra water & squash to try mask the taste. I still really don’t like it & it’s a shame as I was hopeful. Maybe I’ll start getting used to it. But it’s definitely not pleasant. 

Thank you for including me on this trial, I have been curious about collagen and see so many adverts for it, will be interesting to see if we get good results, fingers crossed everyone 😁

I’m hoping it will improve my hair, that I will have less joint pain and see an improvement with my wrinkles, so I’m probably expecting a bit too much! 
I do find these a bit difficult to open, maybe I have weak thumbs. I’m a bit put off by the colour of the product, I am not hugely keen on the taste but it’s bearable. I take it after breakfast and try to take it like a shot as suggested. I have been impressed with other Elle Sera products so am feeling reassured about the quality and 2 months worth is very generous and should give a chance to see an effect. 

Still finding taste ok but opening it - especially if in a rush - is a fiddle and did get some on my clothes this morning. Packaging feels quite wasteful? Does anyone know if they can be recycled once rinsed out?

Ive read quite few of your messages and have noticed quite varied thoughts on the collagen.

I've tried numerous different types of collagen...powders, liquid, flavoured, no flavour, typec1, typec 3 etc....and have to say this collagen from Elle Sera is the nicest I've had. Its not overly sweet and sickly nor so unpleasant its gag worthy like some. I wouldn't say its absolutely delicious but its not bad. I mean what collagen is going to taste 'out of this world'?

I find it just a nice amount to take as a shot and to ensure none is wasted I add a few drops of water into the tube afterwards  give it a swirl and then drink that. .....i recycle packaging in plastic bin.

I find its also handy in that it is already measured out daily instead of faffing about weighing it out, dissolving it like a powder etc. This and the 'crayon' like design make it easy to take at any time of the day and/or wherever you are. (Easy to pop in your bag) Bit like taking a tampon with u lol! Its better than the little sachets you have to squeeze to death to get all the content out or have to go and search for scissors to open. 

My advice on opening this collagen is to be confident and not hesitant ie just go for it .... push the nib hard in an upright position and it'll just snap....practice makes perfect 👌. 

All that said ...since starting this collagen i have found I'm feeling overall a bit stronger when im doing things .....hopefully I'll see more results, as you all hopefully will do too.

I have been taking for a few days now. 

I like the design & how easy you can take one with you. 

The colour is a bit off putting but I try not to think of that & just have it like a shot. The taste, you get used to. 

I’m interested to see how i feel in a few weeks. 

I am really struggling with this, really don't like the taste or texture - but I'll keep trying 😕 

Just wish it tasted better 😊
