Hey everyone, I’d love some self-care tips for postpartum, I am nine months postpartum now and would love some tips on how to look after myself more please?

Best tip I got was 9months in the belly, 9months out. As in, don’t even start trying to feel normal or “snap back” until after 9months. Your body has been in healing. Try really focussing on your nutrition. Best place to start. Sending you so much love, it’s an exhausting time 💜💜💜

@megan0 similar to what @gg2025 says, your body is healing. Nutrition and taking time and space for yourself in the few moments you can find some peace and quiet are vital. I would also really recommend doing some intentional breathing in these moments if you're open to it. With breathwork, what most people don't know is that you don't have to be doing a full 1-hour class to get and feel the benefits. Even 5 minutes or less will help you relax, feel calm and also aid your body to heal - we release carbon dioxide when we exhale and take in more oxygen when we inhale and put our focus on this process. Oxygenating your cells helps to speed up your body's recovery so you'd be surprised how beneficial this can be for your mind as well as your body! Let me know if you want to hear more and I'd be happy to chat 🙂
