If you’re struggling, you’re not imagining it! Perimenopause is real!!

Perimenopause hit me with unexpected changes—mood swings, brain fog, and sleep issues were the worst. It took some trial and error and I have not yet tried HRT. A few things  have made a real difference:

Tracking Symptoms: Keeping a journal helped me spot patterns and identify triggers.

Lifestyle Tweaks: More protein, less sugar, and consistent exercise helped balance my energy and mood.

Supplements: Everyone’s different, but magnesium and Vitamin D seem to help me.

What’s been helpful for you?

I can really relate to this. I’m going through the same with perimenopause and it’s been very difficult. The mood swings, brain fog and poor sleep have been the hardest for me too. My GP prescribed medication, but honestly it hasn’t helped much so far, which is quite frustrating.

Thank you for sharing your advice about tracking symptoms, lifestyle changes and supplements. It’s helpful to hear what has worked for others, and I might try keeping a journal as well. It makes me feel a bit less alone knowing others are experiencing the same thing.
