I just had a really weird mental breakdown
I’m 31 weeks pregnant. I walked out into my kitchen and saw crumbs on the counter. I got really upset, but I realized I was ridiculous for being so upset about crumbs so I started laughing. Maniacal laughter to the point of tears. Then it turned into real tears and inconsolable sobbing. I was suddenly upset about everything in the kitchen. Everything felt gross and unorganized and I hated it. So I started throwing everything out and I deep cleaned the entire kitchen. I ordered groceries and put everything away organized in a way I liked and I felt so much better.
My husband was fantastic. He didn’t say a word, he just jumped in and helped me clean, throw things out, and put the groceries away. Now I’m sitting here feeling completely insane. Am I insane?
Nope, you’re not insane at all, just very pregnant! I had a full meltdown over a crooked picture frame at 32 weeks. It turned into a whole house rearranging situation. Pregnancy hormones are wild, but your reaction is so valid.
